The committee establishes, clarifies, and continually refines the organization’s unified brand, brand identity, and standards reflective of its priorities and values.
What does the committee do?
- Develops brand standards and criteria.
- Establishes and directs the creation and production of internal communications and brand outlets such as: Publications (e-newsletters, magazine, annual report, blog, etc.), Website (and mobile application), social media.
- Seeks opportunities for new brand outlets.
- Creates and fosters brand relationships.
- Generates external strategy and plans efforts for alignment with the association's brand such as: News articles, interviews, Campaigns, Resources
- Develops and supports designated spokespersons.
- Assists in the development of the annual communications budget.
- Recommends brand changes and identification/branding elements (i.e., marks, logos) to the Board of Directors.
