In this Food for Thought session, you will learn about:

This interactive session offers an engaging overview of fire extinguisher basics, including their history, types, and key components. Participants will also receive practical instruction on properly operating a fire extinguisher in the event of a fire onsite. Weather permitting, the class includes a hands on outdoor demonstration to practice safe and effective use. Lunch is provided, making it a convenient and informative team building opportunity. 

Learning Objectives: 

  • Learn the history, types, and key components of fire extinguishers
  • Understand when and how to safely use a fire extinguisher
  • Receive step-by-step instruction on proper fire response protocol
  • Participate in hands-on fire extinguisher training (outdoors, weather permitting)
  • Enjoy lunch while gaining valuable safety knowledge for your property or workplace 

Attendees will earn 1 Continuing Education Credit (CEC).
