The Apartner in Safety Alliance program aims to connect the community by providing more opportunities for first responders to live in multifamily properties across the city, improve the safety of multifamily buildings and strengthen the relationship between Austin residents and the first responders that serve them.

What is the program?
Apartner in Safety Alliance offers exclusive housing benefits to Austin first responders (Police, Fire and EMS) through partnerships with Austin Apartment Association members. These benefits can include discounted rent, waived fees, move-in specials, and more, aimed at making housing more affordable and asscessible for our first responders.
Beyond housing, members will also have the option to host a community engagement event and receive a property walkthrough from the Austin Police Department. AAA will be available to assist with community engagement events as needed and coordinate with members to receive their walkthrough.
Who is eligible for the program?
All employees of the Austin Police Department, Austin Fire Department and Austin-Travis County EMS are eligible to access the housing benefits program.
Are there any fees or obligations to take advantage of these benefits?
There are no fees associated with the program. All participants must be currently employed by the Austin Police Department, Austin Fire Department or Austin-Travis County EMS

First responders can view current participating properties and their benefits offered through the Apartner in Safety Alliance Property Directory
