Join us for AAA Advocate Week, a dynamic event where we will meet with local elected officials and their staff to advocate for crucial issues affecting the members of the Austin Apartment Association. This is your chance to educate, advocate, and connect with local elected officials.
Event Details:
Dates: August 10th - 14th
When you register, our Government Affairs Team will connect with you to find a day(s) that will work best with your schedule that week. Participation can be as flexible as dedicating just 1-2 hours for the entire week if that suits your availability! A full schedule will be released the last week of July!
Activities: Visit local city halls, JP courts, meetings with council members, justices of the peace, and more.
Throughout the week, we will be engaging in a series of meetings and discussions aimed at promoting the interests and concerns of our association members.

Preparation
An issue briefing and short training webinar will be provided to prepare volunteers for the meetings, so no experience is necessary to join a team!
