2026 AAA Board of Directors Election

You are shaping the future of our association with your vote - even in an uncontested election - your vote matters!

In accordance with the Bylaws, the Austin Apartment Association’s Governance Committee is presenting the nominations and the ballot for the 2026 Board of Directors. 

The Austin Apartment Association Board of Directors is comprised of up to 16 elected members, consisting of ten owners and six supplier members.

For 2026, the general membership will elect one (2) Industry director and three (3) Products & Services (supplier) directors, as outlined below.  The slate includes one nominee for each vacant Board seat.

AAA members can vote either by approving the nominees as presented or voting by writing in additional nominations, or a combination of the two.

Even though this year’s board election is uncontested, your vote still matters. It’s a chance to show your support, strengthen our community, and help us meet quorum requirements.

Cast your vote today – it only takes a minute! - Voting closes on December 5 at 5pm. 

Instructions for voting members:
  • Only one vote from each AAA member company will be counted. The voting privilege is reserved for the AAA member company Primary Contact, or their designated proxy. 
    • The Main Contact can be found in the Member Compass, and is the person who received the official Notice of Annual Meeting & Election. 
  • Ballots must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 5, 2025.
  • Ballots may not total more than five (5) directors total - 2 industry + 3 supplier director nominees. 
  • You may vote for the full slate as presented; OR You may vote for a partial slate plus additional (write-in) candidates, so long as the total number of director candidate votes does not exceed four directors.
  • Any slate exceeding these totals will invalidate that ballot.
  • To vote, check the boxes next to each candidate of your choice and/or supply a write-in candidate in place of a represented member.
