2024 Food Drive Initiatives

This year, the AAA Foundation's Annual Food Drive is proudly partnered with Move for Hunger to deliver a comprehensive and impactful program. Our 2024 goal is to raise enough funds to provide 1,500 meal kits for holiday meals. These kits will be assembled by volunteers and distributed to local families and community partners in need.

Key Events

  • Meal Packing Event: Volunteers will come together on November 14, from 4-8 PM at the AAA office, to assemble meal kits designed to provide a holiday meal experience, complete with recipes and essential ingredients.
  • Delivery Day: On November 15, the meal kits will be distributed to our community partners, including the Housing Authority City of Austin, Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Foundation Communities, and SAFE. Depending on the level of funding achieved, the meal kits may also include H-E-B or other gift cards to further support the recipients.

Move for Hunger will ensure a seamless process from preparation to distribution, leveraging the resources of moving companies and supplier partners for efficient delivery.
