Join the Austin Apartment Association and Housing Connector for an informational session on Housing Connector. Housing Connector is a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to housing for individuals who may otherwise face significant barriers to securing a home.
During this session, Housing Connector will provide an overview of how properties can partner with their program, including details on risk mitigation funding, tenant case management support, and adjusted screening criteria for participating units.

Housing Connector works with property owners to list vacant units on its Zillow powered rental platform, while partnering with properties to implement reduced screening criteria for program applicants in areas such as credit score, income-to-rent ratio, and rental history. In exchange, participating properties receive financial support, including a risk mitigation fund and up to three months of emergency rental assistance.
Through partnerships with local service providers, Housing Connector connects residents with case managers who help ensure long term housing stability. Residents placed through the program have verified income and receive up to two years of ongoing support after moving in.
