For More Information:
Beginning November 2, 2026, NAAEI is temporarily pausing the Spanish translation of the CAMT exam for all candidates. With the launch of the new CAMT program in 2027, the content and exam will again be available in Spanish.
Why is this happening now?
The revision of the CAMT course currently underway provides an opportunity to update the translation of both the content and exam from the casual Latin American Spanish language being used now to a neutral Latin American Spanish dialect. The new version will minimize variations of vocabulary common in casual language.
In anticipation of the updates, NAAEI paused the sale of the Spanish textbook in November 2025 and is phasing out the current Spanish exam translation in October 2026.
Next steps
The Spanish translation of the CAMT exam questions and multiple-choice answers will not be available beginning November 2, 2026. All current candidates who are interested in testing with the Spanish translation are encouraged to complete the exam by November 1, 2026. The newly translated exam to be published in 2027 will match the new course materials and will not be available to current candidates.
Announcements about the release of the updated CAMT program in both English and Spanish will be made as more information is available.
Contact NAAEI at education@naahq.org if you have additional questions.
