The Langdon on Parmer
Over the past 12 months, The Langdon on Parmer has offered several service opportunities to increase the sense of community and also contribute to the overall well-being of the Austin community at large. In December 2021, the Property adopted a family’s wish list and was able to collect $820 in gift cards from residents, team members, and vendors. This was enough to cover the family’s entire wish list and their holiday dinner. The community also partnered with Toys for Tots in December 2021 and was able to collect 25 toy donations from. In July 2022, the community participated in an annual tradition of collecting school supplies for a Back-to-School Drive with Foundation Communities. Lastly, they are currently participating in a partnership with Soles 4 Soles, e asking residents, vendors, and team members to drop off new or gently worn shoes to donate to those in need and to protect the planet through recycling. Besides service opportunities, they have contributed to the well-being of their community through monthly resident events to build a sense of community and comradery. These efforts have led to a high retention rate within the community, led to a 3.8 Google rating, and helped them achieve the RPM Living Reputation Award for 2021.
