Smart StarPass

Send your entire staff to an unlimited number of AAA seminars* for one low subscription price per year. The Smart StarPass Subscription is an affordable and valuable benefit for our apartment community members.

• Most seminars are typically $80+ for non Smart StarPass subscribers that are 3-4 hours long, except for a few longer seminars. 
• Save 10% on NAAEI Credential programs 
• Access to an exclusive StarPass Virtual Library  (must be a Smart StarPass Subscriber and logged in)  *Redbook/other TAA Seminars and certain credential courses are not included in the Smart StarPass subscription. (Ex. CPO, EPA, or longer than 4 hours training)

Smart StarPass Subscription Guidelines

The following policies have been established with the interest of the general membership in mind.
Registration policies apply to all AAA members, regardless of any affiliation with the Smart StarPass Subscription.
Classes and dates are subject to change.

1. Payment for Smart StarPass Subscription must be received by AAA before registering for eligible classes.
2. Sign up for seminars online at https://www.austinaptassoc.com/events/education
3. Walk-in registrations are welcome, but not guaranteed.
4. AAA gladly accepts cancellations, as long as the request is sent via e-mail 10 days prior to the event date, see Education Registration Policies for details. Substitutions are also welcome, please notify AAA in advance. 
5. Out of courtesy to our FFT speakers, Smart StarPass Subscribers who Cancel or are No Shows made after the required date of cancelation will be charged a $5 no-show fee for the Food for Thought series.  
6. In order to participate in Smart StarPass, all subscriber accounts must be current and in good standing with AAA. Should a member’s dues lapse during the Smart StarPass subscription period, all Smart StarPass privileges will be suspended immediately until the account is brought current.
7. Smart StarPass-approved courses do not include TAA programs (Redbook/Lease Seminars), certain certification courses (EPA, CPO, R410A, CPR), or more than 4-hour seminars.
8. Smart StarPass subscribers will receive a 10% discount on NAAEI designation course registrations for CALP, CAM/CAS, CAPS, and IROP. CAMT is not included in this discount program.
