Share Your Expertise & Connect with Your Community

Join AAA's engaging "Food for Thought" program to showcase your expertise while connecting with industry peers! Our monthly in-person learn at lunch program offers you - AAA Product's & Services (Supplier) Members - the opportunity to present an educational seminar in the AAA training room, providing valuable insights to onsite personnel. Food for Thought is FREE and open to all AAA Industry members. It's a win-win experience for both presenters and attendees!

Why Become a Presenter?

Program Details: 
  • Educational Presentation: Present an educational topic (30-45 minutes) of your choice. Remember, this should not be a sales pitch, but rather an informative seminar.
  • Catered Lunch: As the sponsor, you will provide a catered lunch for attendees. ($150-$300 average cost)
  • Optional Door Prize: Feel free to offer a door prize to enhance your session.

Who can present? Experienced professionals and subject matter experts in the rental housing industry or related fields are welcome to submit proposals. AAA Products & Services (Supplier) Members can submit topics for consideration. Government agencies, non-profits, and other organizations can submit topics for consideration. Industry experts, thought leaders, and experienced professionals can apply to be speakers at EdgeCon.

What topics are we seeking for this series?

We accept proposals on various topics that align with the interests and needs of our members. Check out our list of suggested topics for ideas. The topics should be educational and relevant to the rental housing industry, providing valuable insights to onsite personnel. Topics should highlight specific programs, regulatory impacts, or relevant issues affecting rental housing providers in Austin. Topics should include emerging technologies, best practices, and cutting-edge trends relevant to the multifamily housing industry.

What is the format?

Classes can be conducted in-person or virtually, depending on the preference and availability of the instructor and audience. In-person seminars held monthly in the AAA training room. Typically held virtually, sessions consist of a 20-30 minute presentation followed by a Q&A session. Sessions are held in-person at AAA's annual EdgeCon.

What am I required to provide?

A proposal with a presentation outline and topic details, as well as a headshot of the instructor(s).
