New members join the association every week – all filled to the brim with questions about how to get involved, grow their membership and generally how to navigate the ins and outs of the association. That’s why we need you: a group of seasoned supplier members excited to guide new supplier members along the path of their first year of membership. Enter the M Team - AAA Mentors.
To increase involvement of new supplier members through engagement
To add value to membership for both new and seasoned members
How M-Team works
Through application process, 20-30 supplier members will be selected as the M-Team. Why an application process? We are looking for a select group of experienced industry suppliers and need to know a bit about you!
Mentors will be paired up in teams of two. This will give our new members a balanced view of the association and help facilitate interaction during events.
New members will be asked if they want a mentor team. If yes, then the new member will be assigned a mentor team.
Responsibilities of Mentors
Attend quarterly mentor meetings
Monthly phone conversation with person being mentored
In-person meetings, with mentee every other month
Coordinate with mentor team at AAA events
Attend pre-event mentor mixers
Willing to introduce mentor to other members and potential clients
Mentors and mentees to provide quarterly feedback and evaluation after year-one
