Ambassadors The A-Team
The AAA Ambassadors Team, "A-Team," act as promoters of the association. The A-Team contacts new members and visits properties to promote the association's benefits, events, and professional development opportunities that AAA offers. If you are NEW to the association, being an Ambassador is a great way to meet other members and learn the benefits of AAA. This is open to supplier, management companies and community personnel members. COMPLETE A-TEAM APPLICATION TO BE A MEMBER
Austin Supervisors' Council
Open to property supervisors and upper-level management personnel only. Meetings are used as a forum to discuss emerging issues and hot topics in the rental housing industry in Austin.
Communication Advisory Committee
This committee plans editorial content and develops communication strategy for the association. Members decide and procure the content and promote advertising for the Window magazine, discuss social media, as well as address issues with the AAA website and other communication media of the association.
The Austin Apartment Association conducts community outreach events and programs throughout the year. All AAA members are welcome to join this fun and energetic group.
Doc & Gayle Young Food Drive
The Austin Apartment Association’s annual Doc & Gayle Young Food Drive, (held during the fall), is a volunteer-driven fundraiser to purchase Thanksgiving foodstuffs for Central Texans.
Education Advisory Council
Council members discuss a variety of topics surrounding the education and training offerings through the association. The input collected from the meetings directly impacts our education programs at AAA. There are set number of voting council members, but all AAA members are welcome to attend.
This committee is open only to AAA property managers, owners, supervisors, onsite maintenance personnel and other appointed members. Ideal for those who like to stay informed about how the government affects business.
Mentors The M-Team
Formed to mentor AAA supplier members, the M-Team is a select group of experienced supplier members who focus on guiding new supplier members through their first year of membership. The M-Team is made up of 20-30 supplier members who must submit to an application process to be involved. Interested in becoming a part of the M-Team? The NextGen committee engages future leaders of the apartment industry through peer networking, education and association involvement. Open to all AAA members working within the rental housing industry.
Products & Services Council PSC
The PSC is a select group of vendor representatives chosen by Council Leadership each year through an application process. They are charged with the responsibility to chair the event committees, sell sponsorships, recruit attendance at events, and staff/host the actual special event held each year by the Association.
The PSC bears the responsibility to represent the interests of the Products and Services Membership as a whole, and the Chair serves as a Vice President on the AAA Executive Committee. The Purpose of the PSC as a committee of the Association is to determine supportive methods to further the purposes and financial stability of the Association.
