Rental Property Owner/Management Companies
A Rental Owner owns or manages any type of rental property from a single family home to triplexes to apartment communities that are located in our 11-county jurisdiction. Membership dues are an annual fee based on how many total units (or doors) you own or manage (administrative fees may apply). If your total unit count is 0-10 units: $195 If your total unit count is 11-2,000: $250 + ($1.85 x #units)
Suppliers of Products & Services
A Supplier member is a company that provides a product or service to any owner, management company or property. When your company joins AAA, any employee can participate, volunteer and network with our members. Membership dues are paid on an annual basis allowing you access to events, networking opportunities and professional development (administrative fees may apply). Annual dues: $420
3-in-1 Membership When you join AAA, you also become a member of the Texas Apartment Association (TAA) and the National Apartment Association (NAA).
Legal Forms As a member you have access to purchase the most up-to-date rental leases and addenda.
First time landlord? As a first time owner, the first item you will need to develop your policies and procedures for fair housing, tenant guidelines and resident qualifying criteria. Second, you will need to become familiar with the TAA lease contract and we have a few resources to help you and your potential residents understand the lease contract.
Advocacy We fight for your rights and interests as an owner or management company on a local, state and national level. We do not have an attorney on staff to offer free legal advise. However, when members to call for assist we refer to the Redbook which is the legal resource updated after each legislative session. If you have Bluemoon Software, you can access the Redbook online through Bluemoon Software. We do have hardcopies of the Redbook for purchase at the association office.
