AAA Staff

The Austin Apartment Association is staffed by seven, full-time employees who are responsible for many different functions.


Kristan Arrona - Executive Vice President

Kristan serves as chief executive officer, recommends and participates in the formulation of new policies and ensures implementation of existing policies as approved by the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.  She also plans, organizes directs and coordinates the staff, programs and activities of the association to assure that objectives are attained, plans fulfilled, and needs of the membership met. 

Kristan serves as staff liaison to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, Budget and Finance Committee, Leadership Committee and Political Action Committee.

Dana Bolz - Director of Events & Meetings

Dana is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the annual events including Casino Night, Spring Golf Tournament, May Madness at the Salt Lick, Summer Nights Happy Hour, Business Exchange, Bowling Tournament, Fall Golf Tournament and the annual Trade Show. She also coordinates several general membership meetings including the Supplier Connection, Holiday Gala, and Installation of Officers & Awards Banquet.

Dana
serves as the staff liaison to the Products and Services Council and to all special event committees.


Jennifer Cox - Director of Marketing & Communications

Jennifer is the editor of the Window on Rental Housing Magazine and the Windowpane Newsletter. She coordinates all aspects of these publications, including layout and design, content, theme and advertising. She is also responsible for the design of association marketing pieces including programs, flyers and graphics, and maintains the AAA Web site.

Jennifer serves as the staff liaison to the Community Service Committee as well as the Communications Advisory Committee (COMAC).

Stacy Cross - Education & Member Services Coordinator

Stacy is responsible for coordinating all aspects of association membership and education offerings.


Taylor Jackson, CMP - Director of Education & Member Services

Taylor is responsible for the coordination of the nationally recognized designation programs calendar- CAPS, CAM, NALP, CAS, CAMT - and the professional seminar schedule. She also oversees the student education records. Taylor is responsible for all aspects of association membership including dues billing, membership records, new inquiries, magazine classified directory listings, and membership mailing labels.

Taylor is the staff liaison for the Education Committee, Membership Committee and Learn at Lunch
.


Amy Magnuson - Administrative Assistant

Amy is responsible for TAA form sales, form inventory, event registration and invoices, and processing mail. She is the first line of contact for many AAA members.

Amy Word-Michalowski - Director of Government Relations

In this postition, Amy's goal is to establish relationships with local and state government officials and staff to encourage communication and become part of the decision-making process in matters relating to the multi-family housing industry. One of Amy's duties is to research local issues including ordinances and regulations that may affect AAA members.

Amy serves as the staff liaison to the Legislative Committee and the AAA Political Action Committee.
